Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HaulLinks collects, why, and who can see it. It applies to the HaulLinks website and text messages.

What we collect

• Your phone number, and a verification code sent to it, to sign you in.
• Your name, company, role, trucks, drivers and service area, if you enter them.
• Jobs you post or respond to, and the messages you send through the platform.
• Trusted Haulers you save — phone numbers and notes for companies you work with.
• Tickets and documents you upload, and the time and account that uploaded them.
• Location updates from a driver's device, only while a job is active (see below).

Who can see it

Your Trusted Haulers list, your private notes and your pricing are visible only to your own organization. They are not shown to other users and are not used to market to the people in them.

When you respond to a job, the requester sees what is needed to work with you: your company, the capacity you offered, and your contact information. When you publish a public provider profile, you choose what goes on it — company identity, truck types, service area and availability. Your customer list, your rates with other customers, your full schedule and other customers' jobsites are never part of it.

Location

Location sharing is tied to a specific job. A requester can see the location and status of a truck only while that truck is assigned to and working on their job. When the job is finished or cancelled, that access ends immediately. Requesters never see a truck owner's other vehicles, the customer before or after them, a driver's location off the clock, or full location history. Drivers can always see whether location sharing is on.

Text messages

We send text messages about actual work: a job someone is sending you, or a job you are part of. We do not send marketing texts and we do not sell or rent phone numbers. Reply STOP to stop messages, HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers may process message delivery on our behalf.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your contacts, customer list or provider network.
• We do not hide either side's phone number to force communication through us.
• We do not use your private rates or call order to market to your customers.

Your data

You own your business records and can export them. You can leave the public network, stop publishing availability, revoke a tracking link, or ask us to delete your account by emailing TBD — support email. Removing someone from your Trusted Haulers does not delete that person's own account or their own records of the work. We keep business records as long as needed for the work, our legal obligations and your access to your own history; we do not keep precise location traces longer than the job needs.

Security and changes

We protect access with phone verification and role-based permissions. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will tell you. If this policy changes materially we will post the new version here with a new date.
